Building on over 15 years of successful collaborations and partnerships in medical and public health research ,  CERiA and CeBP under Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, in collaboration with Yale School of Medicine and Yale School of Public Health, Yale University are committed to providing advanced training on Implementation Science to facilitate the uptake of evidence-based practice and research into regular use by academicians, practitioners, and policymakers. The 3-day boot camp looks forward to welcoming 7 Professors from Yale School of Medicine and Yale School of Public Health including global experts Profs Sten Vermund, Rick Altice, and,  Donna Spiegelman to train academicians, researchers, policy-makers and healthcare providers across Malaysia and region to close the gap between what we know and what we do (often referred to as the know-do gap) by identifying and addressing the barriers that slow or halt the uptake of proven  health interventions and evidence-based practices.
